Minang Cove Resort - Accommodation & Rates 2010
Please note that Minang Cove Resort will close between 1 November 2010 - 28 February 2011 for the monsoon season.
Accommodation Rates
- Quoted per person per night.
- Include "half-board" meals - breakfast buffet, afternoon tea (served in the garden), and dinner buffet (swapped with a BBQ dinner once a week).
Lunch is not included in the price tariff, but a selection of the restaurant's Western and local dishes are available for à la carte lunch dining.
Kids' meals available on request.
Couples - enquiry about the romantic candlelight beach dinner !
Families are well catered for :
- children under 2 years of age stay for free !
- children under 12 years of age, sharing with 2 adults, stay for half of the adult price
- cots and high chairs supplied at no extra charge (please advise requirements when booking to ensure availability)

* Rates subject to change without prior notice.
* 50% advance deposit per person required; balance to be settled on check-out at resort.
* Deposit payment can be made by credit card or telegraphic transfer; balance payment by credit card or cash (Malaysian Ringgit).
Only Visa or MasterCard credit cards can be accepted. Please note that there are no ATM facilities on Tioman Island.
* Cancellation policy :
- deposit refunded if cancellation requested at least 2 weeks prior to check-in date
- no refund if cancellation requested less than 2 weeks to check-in date
Accommodation - Chalets and Villas
Minang Cove Resort offers :
- selection of single-storey Chalets available for single to quad occupancy
- 3 Villas that can each sleep up to a maximum 7 people
The resort was designed and built by the owners, utilising local materials in order to blend beautifully with the tropical surroundings and in traditional Island style. All accommodation options are centrally positioned within a minute's walk of the restaurant and the beach, and feature :
- bathroom with shower (hot water)
- veranda overlooking the cove
- mini-bar; coffee- & tea-making facilities
- air-conditioning

Overlooks the resort and the cove.
The living area has lounge chairs and a kitchenette area. There is one bathroom.

Hill Side Villa
Located on the hill overlooking the cove.
There is a small kitchenette, and a second bathroom inter-connects between the second and third bedrooms.
The large verandah holds both a six-chair dining table and a three-piece lounging chair set with coffee table.
- master bedroom: 1 king size bed; ensuite bathroom
- second bedroom: 2 single beds
- third bedroom: 3 single beds
Beach Front Villa
Located right on the beach - the sea laps under the outdoor deck at high tide !
The hallway hosts a small kitchenette and a second bathroom.
The large verandah holds both a six-chair dining table and a three-piece lounging chair set with coffee table.
