This month's Focus: Singapore Events

  • Singapore set to host a round of the 59th 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship ! Taking place on Sunday 28 September 2008, it will be the first night race in Formula One history, and will be staged on public streets around the Marina Bay area, with the 5.067 km. (3.148 mile) 61-lap circuit set in an anti-clockwise direction in order to enhance safety. Grandstand seating and hospitality areas lining the track will be able to accommodate more than 80,000 spectators.
